β-particles have a range of energies
β-particles deviated by (orbital) electrons
β-particle has (very) small mass
ms lists these points for reasons that beta particles are not used for scattering experiment.......so i just wanted to know whether my interpretations for these points are correct or not......range of energies means they will be deviated by different amounts so we cannot be sure of larger deviations due to nucleus since there can be a slow moving beta particle which can experience large deviation due to its smaller mass...and deviation by orbital electrons again an hindrance to conclusion that there is a nucleus in atom...

as there is air resistance, the ball's speed decreases and therefore it hits the the ground nearer the wall
