Ok, so I know that primary and secondary alcohols are oxidised with potassium dichromate and permanganate, but will they also get oxidised with FEHLINGS or TOLLENS reagents?

Which means that Tollens and fehlings reagents are only used for reactions (tests) with aldehydes or ketones right!?

No, Like Talha said it only is used to distinguish between an Aldehyde and Ketone.
You get the established tests due to the aldehyde getting oxidized to Carboxylic acids.

So in a nutshell:

TOLLENS and FEHLINGS reagents do NOT oxidise alcohols right?

And thanks for the replies!
