for 4 marks write the impotant points about what is asked...like if an event is asked so write its year and explain it concisely....the 7 mark ques is usually "why?" so in that u hve to list three possible resons in ur answer....in 14 marks if it is like "do u agree?" so u hve to give ur views bt not in the starting of the answer....u hve to list 6 possible factors or reasons n then explain y u think one was most important

In 4 mark question, just highlight the main points of whatever is asked.
In 7 mark question, write a paragraph on every important point of whatever is asked (3 points----3 paragraphs).
In 14 mark question, answer as you answer a 7 mark question followed by a conclusion, in which compare the factors and state and explain whichever you find the most important.

how to answer 4......7......and.................14 markx question:sick:
4 mark question
give any 4 points....mostly what, when,where,how
this will include name, date, and abt 2 lines brief explanation
7 mark question
write three paragraphs, each paragraph explaining one reason. give valid and detailed reasons. at the end of each paragraph state "thus/that is why/hence/ this was the reason for----------"
14 mark question
write 5 paragraphs. give 7 reasons....five fully explained and two briefly stated....at the end of each paragraph again give that linking sentence of 'hence/thats why/therefore this was the reason"
14 mark question must have a 6th short paragraph of conclusion. it shud start with words like concluding/the nut shell is/the conclusion is and den it shud state ur opinion abt the question nd state the reason for why do u hold that particular opinion. For example if the question is that "Agricultural developments were the Most important reforms of Bhutto. do u agree" then in conclusion u will state that whether u agree or not...if u dunt agree den which reform do u think was most important nd why do u think so"
Remember that conclusion is Very important in order to attain full 14 marks.

umm i am not aware of any such rule. i myself gave Pak studies paper and did nothing of such sort. i guess v can only compare wen two sides are given where as in these history questions u hv to giv reasons for ur answers. and only 3 paragraphs for a 14 mark question will literally deduct marks cz thats really too small.....preferable is 7 cz all two years i was instructd to give 7 paragraphs nd 7 reasons for 14 mark question but at the end i was told that only 5 paragraphs r necessary wid 5 detaild reasons.... nd yea that conclusion rule is more than necessary nd it Is stated in all mark schemes.
