Can anyone please explain how i can calculate the phase difference of two particles in a wave??? :%) :%)

First find the phase angle of each particle, then subtract! :)

To find phase angle where it is not obvious:
You need to know the wavelength of the wave, and the distance of the particle from where the wavelength is 0.
Phase angle = (distance of particle from 0 / wavelength) * (2(pi))

Hope you understood that! Sort of hard to explain without a diagram :/

phase difference is an angle differnce....say 120....the second wave is 120 degrees ahead or behind of the first wave...so just calculate the values as in when it is zero it will be 120 degrees ahead...(use simple sine values like sin120)

in phase means that the phase difference is multiples of lambda
whereas out of phase means that the phase difference is multiple of 1/2 lambdas
