I won't recommend them either.
The syllabus has changed a lot since then.

hmm but anyone can get em from the old bookshops like some in pakistan
i think in lhr theres a place and u get really really old pastpapers and ither things!
well never saw that place
but if anyone knows can get from there!

ur right about this, that place is URDU BAZAR. that place is seriously heaven for old books (not that they dont have new books :/) so u may find very very old papers there...

Its just 4 bit conversion, why do you need a calculator for that?
And if you are using Casio ES series, it wont be allowed in the exam. They ill take it away and give you an MS calculator.

btw, i did use Es calculator in AS. so shudnt cause ny trouble this time also (i hope so, or im drowned)

Es or Ms scientific calculators r allowd, my teacher recommended to use Es bcoz of the surd forms nd all.. no one ever said nything.. Es is allowd.
