The resonant frequency of mass-spring system if f.What is the effect on amplitude of oscillation if short impulsive forces of freuency of 1/2f are impressed on the mass-spring system.

The maximum amplitude is at resonance frequency f. So when 1/2f is given, the amplitude will be less.
