Long Man is much better
First thing first, you cannot rely on one single book imagining that would or should be ample to grasp all the concepts required to cover the 9702 syllabus 
each topic requires concepts to be built from grass root level and for that you may require no more than the given triplet..

Pacific (quite tough though)
CIE endorsed book (it actually has four authors of whom i remember M.Crundell and Chris Mee only) ..it's the best available book that you can acquire for revision once you are done with your core preparation

A Level Physics by Roger Muncaster......... its just like Abbot in O Levels.........has everything in details in it........
