Glucagon is secreted by the pancreas (islet cells) and is a hormone in which it is targeted to the liver to LOWER the sugar level in the blood..this is when there is a low amount of glucose in the bodyfunctions of glucagon n insulin plz..
(a.k.a storage sorter of the body)..while Insulin again secreted by the pancreas, is again targeted to the liver to stimulate it to convert the stored glucose (glycogen) into glucose to INCREASE the level of glucose in the blood
