Phase difference : it is the difference between the stages in oscillation cycle expressed in terms of fraction of a cycle i.e 360 deg or in terms of action of wavelength!!!

torque of a couple is the turning effect produced by/due to couple!!!

and yea path difference???? m hearing this word for the first tym mate m sorry i cant help ya with that! :)

phase difference is the difference between two points in a wave or among two waves..
while path difference is the extra distance covered by one wave compared to other in slit experiments

torque of couple is produced by 2 forces, while torque of moment is just due to one force..

Ok
I am sometimes getting confused between formula of torque of Couple & torque of Moment
For couple it is F x perpendicular distance between forces
for moment it is F x perpendicular distance on action of force & center of gravity
Is this Correct??????

torque is the product of 1 of the forces and perpendicular distance b/w forces
while moment is the product of force and the perpendicular distance between the force and the turning point (pivot) not the centre of gravity!!

both waves have definite wavelength and for both waves speed is given by the formula v= f * lamda(wave length)
