Nope. He turned the heater for the 2 mins first during which the temperature of the SOLID was increasing till it reached the melting point.

Yes he did. But we didnt find specific heat capacity. We found latent heat. And that is THE ENERGY NEEDED WHEN IT IS MELTING! so its the 9 minutes during which the tempreture was constant

It wasn't that HARD, per se.
The questions were ambiguous and it was REALLY long.
Was hoping to ace it but in retrospect it's unlikely.
The question about students X and Y are from both variant 2 and 3 I believe.
Speaking of which, does anyone know the answer to that?^

It's because the resistance of the lamp isn't enough to bring the current and hence power down to a manageable level right? (Voltage const)

Yeah, that's actually true, the surgeons use something called an endoscope with an illuminated headpiece at the end. the light is reflected against the wall of the stomach and sent back to the headpiece.

I mean the exam needed more time, with maybe an extra 10 or 15 mins, I think we would have done a lot better, The questions just required deep thought and time, which we didn't have.

it was lengthy and i wasted my time on the first question and i kept solving an left some pages and while i was solving the time finished
but in previous exam i finish everything before time but this exam i still left many

you have to keep in mind that if u faced any problem in a question just ignore it and go to other question and you have to practice on being fast
