these things involve products of vectors not sum of vectors. cross product of vector(not dot product) is perpendicular to both vectors that is why all three vectors are 90deg to each other and the rules like left hand rule and right hand rule work in reality. u will learn these things in detail later on.

in home it uses dc motor if it has a rectifying circuit(changes ac to dc) but mostly they work on ac motor.

It's a trend. It happens with everyone. Only few teachers are those who give advice and help exactly according to CIE.
