A light ray bends after entering the lens.
If the distance from the object to the lens is greater than the focal point the bent ray passes through the focal point.

It is because the focal length is the distance between optical center and principle focus..Also the first ray from the object passes from centre to the focal length..Hope u get it...

The answer is B, because the parallel ray, passes through the focus, and we know that focal length is the distance between the optical center and the principle focus, which in this case is 10 cm..
