can any tell me where does the positive charge go in charging a conductor negatively...

Positive charge is due to the proton so it does not go anywhere! Its only the negative ones that move !

correct.......ONLY ELECTRONS MOVE...........i also did not understand it 1 year before.........but then just before papers got it ..........they are only produced due to the movements of electrons!!
