Physics Magnetism Doubt!

I do understand some stuff.. like poles repel and unlike pole attract, conventional current, right hand grip rule, solenoid, transformers and stuff! My main doubts are the AC motor, dc motor, electromagnetic Induction.. I dont even know what does Induction means... If anyone could help or post notes or videos on this it will be awesome!

i don't think we have AC motor in our syllabus
