When the wave is moving in the direction shown... P and Q points oscillate at there fixed positions... Only up or down... Not to right or left... So A can't be the answer... P already has moved up, it will come down so B is not the answer either.... Q will not move is wrong too... It does change its position... Q moving up is the right answer.... I hope it helps...
