there was a question about why that specific heat capacity was HIGHER than the expected result.... what is ans for that one?

Yep, I wrote about parallax error while reading the thermometer. Large range of possible answers for this one.

what did u write ?

I wrote something like measuring the whole height of the tray from outside, then clamping the other ruler just above the water and use a pointer and record the height above the water, then subtract,... oh well, complicated process. I'm dumb at practicals T_T

Usually phy ATP are easy, i dont know wat wrong with this years paper..
i complete ATP papers in 30mins.. BUT in this paper, it took me half an hour to complete first question even!!!!!!
i'm scared now, caus i didnt do p2 well too..
i wonder what grade i will get...

i wrote abt ERROR in reading thermometer.. but an error in thermometer would result slight changes to results right? did u guys notice that they wrote "too big"?

Same here , i took me almost 35 min to complete the First question and 15 min to complete remaining 3 ..since remaining 3 were very very easy..

Yeah I actually did the first question last -_- Cambridge decided to bomb us in physics this year.

like they say every cloud has a silver lining, this papers first question was very hard while the rest were very easy..

physics theory was quite Easy ...and Atp had only those 5 marks question as difficult .!!

In ATP? I just substituted the given values (smallest power rating value) and got something like 4860 something I think.

The student's line was not perpendicular to the surface on which the ray strikes. A normal should be perfectly perpendicular (at 90 degrees) to that surface.
