can anyone please explain when calculating the work done when moving say a block up a slope, shoulg we take the vertical height or the distance it moved?
exactly i have the same qstn ?? i guess its given wrong in the red spot mcq ?

Add the radius; 108+150 because both will have maximum distance between them when they
are exactly opposite each other and at the far end of their orbit.

Will the first 2 be marked or the best 2 out of 3?

Just till you feel that you have the hang of it. All you need is basic knowledge of apparatus, the types of questions, and common sense. Go through a few exams and read the mark schemes. Soon you will feel that you understand the examiners requirement. Then you're ready.
