you have to use the LEFT HAND RULE (FLEMMING LEFT HAND RULE)
But you are too lucky i guess , because if you use right hand rule and put the direction of middle finger in the direction of electrons you would get the right answer that was into the page :)

BUT

the correct method was to use left hand and put the middle finger opposite to the flow of electrons :)
that would point the thumb into the page :)

Thermal expansion is the tendency of matter to change in volume in response to a change in temperature. All materials have this tendency.


the above ^^ defination of THERMAL EXPANSION is written in WIKIPEDIA and many other books like fedrel and popel and explaing physics

altough that was convection but it is as a result of thermal expansion :)
complete physics says the same thing .. the book is verified by cambridge

using common sense,y would there be sulphur dioxide above the bunsen burner?!if the gas is in the tank,it cannot expand..only the kinetic energy of molecules increase,thus,increasing air pressure..air pressure increasing has nothing to do with expansion of anything

How do we not know the container wasn't made of a material that doesnt stretch?

aparently AIR was written and air dont contain sulphur dioxide :)
by the way we should not fight :)
you will get tho know the answer once marking scheme would be published :)

i might have lost a mark for that as i randomly picked the answer! the other question i lost a mark was that magnet electron question above!

when the three identical resisters where in series the total resistance was 6 ohms
means every fixed resister has a value of 2 ohms !

then when they were in parrallel we can use formula

1/ R = 1 / R1 + 1 /R2 + 1/R3

1/R = 1/2 +1/2 + 1/2
1/R = 3/2
R=2/3 ohms

(B) was the answer

Ummm where are you getting the questions from?
have the papers been uploaded....The paper was so tricky....anyone know

What i learnt from o levels is they give you past MCQ's but no past paper 2's
I did p.p's form 94 classified physics till 2010 jun
and MCQ's was the best
The ATP was so difficult....usually get full in ATP but i think i'll get 5 marks less :cry:
Where is the rest of the paper's discussion going on ?
