that's because all the rays of light get focused onto the focal point. and it's not choice D because the middle ray should be a straight line.

If an object has a lot of thermal capacity it means it can store a lot of energy and so it needs a lot of energy to raise its temperature by 1 degree.
If an object has a low thermal capacity, it heats up quickly (the opposite of above).

its C because in convex lens all rays merge together and middle ray is straight always so its C...

it's the the principal axis that passes through the center of the lens it doesn't change direction.
