Now here comes the role of motivation. You can't underestimate what u can do if you're just confident about your abilities.
Here is what you can do now... and yes it isnt too late :)
1) Think about all the things u know in physics.
2)Now get a checklist and start ticking the things u know and revise the topics u're unsure of ON THE INTERNET (textbooks take alot of time) here's one checklist==>http://www.cambridgestudents.org.uk...on_Checklist_for_IGCSE_Physics_0625_FINAL.pdf
3)Read short notes..Do alteast 1 year's past papers be4 the exam!
4)http://www.xtremepapers.com/community/threads/physics-general-tips.16304/<== Read this too.
5)Be confident and lift ur head up high ;)

11 ai) R=v/i ....1.8 / 0.45 = 4
ii)E=IVT.....0.45 x 1.8 x 520 = 421.2 J
b) If the thickness of the wire is halved resistance will be double (for a wire of similar length) as R is inversely proportional to thickness =4 x 4=16 (ohms) we will use this quantity to cross multiply and find the length later on..
Find the resistance of this wire=I/V = 1.8/0.3 = 6 (ohms)

Now here's the tricky part:
If Full length (original length of the wire) -gives a resistance of 16 (ohms)
What lenght of the same wire will give 6 (ohm) resistance?
Cross multiply...U'll get 6 / 16 = 0.375 ...write it as % to compare u'll get the final answer as 37.5 %
Hope u get the point :)

question 8 last part ..
Q8.(c) The structure of the motor is very similar to that of an a.c. generator. Use ideas about induction
to suggest why the current from the battery falls as the motor speeds up.
A. This is because as the motor speeds up more current is required to oppose/overcome the emf. :D

physics isn't easy.
its nickname in Egypt is the geniuses' subject
so i hope that we are able to survive this hell of a trial cuz not all of geniuses :cautious:

go through notes, solve paper 3's from 2010 and 2011.
its best not to waste time solving earlier papers as latest papers are all application questions which the old papers weren't

once you're done, goto sleep.
