Precision measurements are those which are repeatable - so all measurements are clustered around the same value. An accurate measurement is where you are close to the true value.
A measurement can be precise but not accurate. If you have a piece of string which is 75cm long. You measure it and come up with values of 60cm, 60.5cm and 59.5cm - your measurements are precise but not accurate.Accurate will lie in 74.9,7504 and etc.

like um, wht does 'expect within the limits of accuracy' mean???
it means if they ask you to calculate something and you get a value, which when compared with a value obtained from a theory has a slight difference.
If they ask you to say if the experiment proves the theory is right or wrong. you should say the theory is proved right within the limits of experimental accuracy.
your explanation should state that there may have been an error when measurements were taken or something like that

1 d) instead of measuring the angle of elevation, we can use a ruler instead of the protactor to measure the length elevated from the bench of the high end of the ruler ( the top most part of the ruler which hangs) instead of the lower end (zero mark).
hmm but they r showin a protractor and askin to draw using that? i m not gettin u sorry can u please be more clear :/

if it is regarding refraction, you put two pins on one side of a glass block after placing it on a sheet of paper, and drawing it's outline. by looking through the other side, try to place another 2 pins in line with the first two pins. remove the block and try to draw the two outer lines. join the two lines with a third line. this will be within the glass block. this is the refracted line.
