Well you take gradient by taking any two particular points its y and x values through a straight line u take the lower value as y1 and x1 and another upper value through straight line as y2and x2 then u can find the gradient by the formula y2-y1/x2-x1. But if the line is not a straight line then u will have to draw a tengent and the take out these points but this is a rare case as far as our as level is concerned. Hope u may have understood and yes very important point dont take the points u plotted on the line but take other points on the line. Dont take the point as y or x value that is out of the straight line.
