Physics practical paper 33

hey, I wanted to ask how much mark will I lose if instead of giving d=0.024 cm, i gave d=0.24 cm...
Ive heard that if we are competing , an insignificant error can be severely penalised..
Please give me an answer soon, its very important to me!! :?

well with that error u r not getting any marks for diameter of wire................ but at further process they r keen and give u marks in other process ....

mine was -0.038
y inter 2.42

n a/b value 73.smething

was ur k same in ques2? mine was different.

my gradient was -3.91 and y intercept =2.72

Oh shit were the readings of the diameter supposed to be in cm? I wrote it in mm.
I got 0.27 mm for wire A and 0.30 mm for wire B. I hope that was supposed to be in mm.

And i got my graident as -0.04 which is right i think. Don't remember the y-intercept but that was also correct.

Btw i found the paper quite easy. I hope Paper 2 is comes easy aswell. Lets all just pray for that. =)

Hey i get the value of the daimeter for wire A 0.44 mm and wire B 0.47 mm

MY WORK 0.20 + 0.24 (0.20 BECAUSE THE SLEEVE READING MOVE A BIT, NOT TOTALLY ZERO SO I ESTIMATE IT 0.20) AM I RIGHT..???? A BIT CONFUSED

i got gradient -0.0404 and my intercept 3.26 i think. edifier u should give ans to 3sf
in mm,its ok. mine was 0.24 and 0.32 for A and B respectively.

2.zero eror on micrometer
3.2readings not enuf
4.wrote sme stupid stuf abt wire bending hehe

for the value of A/B it should be the length h at the start,this is the only way to be sure
my h was 80.5 and my A/B was 80.7 so i guess its rite
