Total Clockwise moments = 20 x 3 = 60 Nn
Total Anticlockwise moments = (5x2) + (10x2)= 30

So resultant moments = 60 - 30 = 30 Nm, so A is the answer

Question 9 n 12

Pls show the working

THANKS
Q9: Change in momentum = mass in kg times change in velocity

Initial velocity = 20
Final velocity = -30

Change in v = 20--30 = 50

So change in momentum = (100/1000) times 50 = 5

So B is the answer.

Q12: As it is horizontal, so it implies that IT is in equilibrium, because its weight must be equal to the air resistance, then. In equilibrium sum of all moments and forces is equal to zero. So D is the answer...

I hope my answers are right...

its taken anticlockwise cuz it'll move anticlockwise!! i mean, its logical!!
use ur arm for an example, and pull ur hands horizontally, ur arm will go in an anticlockwise direction keeping the pivot fixed!!
