Make sure you go through the whole book once. After that, start solving Past Paper Questions. Concentrate on the first two sections more!
Yes, past papers are ample for exam preparation.

Nigel Kelly's history book is divided into three sections. You are told to concentrate more on the first two as they are easier and may allow you to answer 3 questions, which is what you need. If you do have time, you should go through all three.
