Economics is a good and easy subject. I think you should go for it.

It makes a good change from having all science subjects. Plus it's easier than the sciences one. It won't really help you at this level but you'd have the basics of the subjects, and if you choose Economics in A-level, most Medical/Engineering students do, taking it now will help you immensely.

No, it won't be useful at all. You should keep subjects like Environmental management or Sociology, instead. Economics will be a good option in A'levels and not yet.

No, it won't be that hard. Many people start with Economics in A'levels. Though, I'll advice you to keep Maths along with the sciences, in A'levels if you tend to do medical in the future.

if you want to do MBBS than taking economics is useless rather take subjects like environmental management, sociology, combined sciences. But in the end its your choice.

Maths is considered to be an integral subject. It's always the best option along with your sciences, and a mathematical background until A'levels will definitely be helpful for you in the future. MBBS has no use of Economics, either. If you want an extra subject Maths is the best option. You can get admission in any university degree, including the those with Economics, even if you have sciences and maths so in the end Economics would be useless at this level.
