A fair five-sided spinner has sides numbered 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. Raj spins the spinner and throws two fair
dice. He calculates his score as follows.
• If the spinner lands on an even-numbered side, Raj multiplies the two numbers showing on
the dice to get his score.
• If the spinner lands on an odd-numbered side, Raj adds the numbers showing on the dice to
get his score.
Given that Raj’s score is 12, find the probability that the spinner landed on an even-numbered side.

firstly if spinner lands on even no. raj multiplies both the numbers he got on the dice and if the spinner lands on odd if adds the 2 nos. Probability spinner lands on even no.=(2/5) as there are two even nos. Probability spinner lands on odd no.=(3/5) so now that u noe dat u find the probability of getting a 12 when you multiply 2 numbers on the dice (4,3) , (3,4) ,(6,2), (2,6) =4/36 it is over 36 cuz two dice are thrown now find the probability of getting a 12 when addind two numbers on the dice and that is only (6,6) =1/36 and now u find the answers ut will ((2/5)*(4/36))/((2/5)*(4/36)+(3/5)*(1/36))=8/11
HOPE U GET IT !!!!BEST OF LUCK
