Potassium permanganate

Hi all!

I know Potassium permanganate is an oxidising agent, which can turn ethanol into ethanoic acid, but i want to know what the colour change is? It changes from purple to ???

It changes from purple to colourless.
Also there is another reagent potassium dichromate which changes from orange to green!
