problem in the name on final certificate !

hi there everyone

i have had this huge problem that my olevels certificate has my name as M...... AFZAL but my
alevels certificate has my name as M...... AFZAL KHAN ! can you people guide me of what i can do ? will that be a huge problem when i apply for universities in pakistan ?

and if any one of you has been through this problem ..please feel free to share your experience

i have contacted british council. they have asked me to fill the form called ' certifying statement application form ' .
also they asked me to attach copies of my statement of results and passport along with it

I changed my name plus i had to pay a penalty fee

im not sure if my post is relevant here

please note if you want to do anything in government institutions then you need to make equivalences. Here Olevel contributes a lot i mean 80% to equivalences and alevel only 20%. Many people dont know this
