I have done my IGCSE from Thailand and I did not sit for Pakistan Studies, Urdu and Islamiyat. Now I have shifted to Pakistan and I want to continue with A levels. But one of the teacher told me after A levels I will not get admission in Pakistani govt. universities due to lack of these subjects. I want to either go for BBA or CA. Shall I go for Inter? I want to do A levels though. Or shall I take these subjects with A levels? I am really confused :( I am not sure of moving abroad again.
Plz help!

if u r 18 + so u can sit as a private candidate and give ur urdu, Islamiat and Pakistan std. And if u r not 18+ then talk to ur school that if u can sit with the students who are going to give exam for these 3 subjects in ovt/nov session. Actually if u wish study in Pakistan u will a equivalence certificate and then u will get admission in any of the university. I have listen that some universities have separate tests for A level students but most propably medical universities. I have listen thos who do A level within pakistan 20% will be deducted from ur A level result in ordr to get ur equivalence certificate.if u do from abroad then 10 %. I think those who has done Igcse or o'level from abroad are free from giving these three subjects but not for students within Pakistan, I read from some where

Thnx for the advice.
Actually I am exempted from these subjects if I go for Inter. If I do A levels from pakistan, I will need these subjects to obtain certificate. Secondly, my friend suggested me to go for ACCA. They do not require this certificate since it is a uk board. Then I can do CA. Is it true? Then I dont need those three subjects.

You better confirm this thing from the institution which offers acca (check their website and call them, dont go for what you heard from someone). Im not sure about your exemption either. Your olevel equivalence needs pakst, isl and urdu (first or second language). You get 90% for A* and 85 for A. They get total of 8 subjects and get the average. If you have given urdu second language they deduct 1.5% from final. So you can still get 88.5%, which is really good

well to me i think u should first give three subjects in this oct/nov session then do A levels as inter is just cramping!!!!!!! and it is difficult for an IGCSE/O levels student to coop with it.As far as CA is concerned u will have to check this from the institute from which u r planning to do it from

It is very difficult for me to take these subjects in this oct/nov session since i have very short time to prepare for them.So I have decided to begin my A level session from sept as it is starting and prepare for these subjects side by side . I will sit for the three sbjcts and a levels in may/june session. That is the only way i guess.
