Heyy i want all details about the graph produced in the paper ..i've heard it carries alot of marks.
So, i want to know how to do the labelling of the axis and what type of graph is produced i'e curved/line of best fit e.t.c
and yeah the y intercept as well (this bit specially)
btw I've not stepped into a physics lab since Highschool :(
so that's why am asking such baybish questions!

yeah it carries a lot of marx!
1st independent variable is on the x-axis as if v r carrying out a prac on changing da length 2 find time period i noscillations length is independent n on x -axis n time period on y-axis
lable dem as cm /m n sec respectively
chose ur scale resonably so it covers more den half of da ppr atleast
den plot ur points as encircled in ciracle of dia less den1 cm
draw lines 2 calc grad so dey r visible
y intercept is where graph cuts y - axis
u can calc using y= mx +c eq if u r not sure bout it
n normally in all pprx line of best fit is required!
hope i helped!

Heyyy...thanks it actually did help but still abit of confusion on y intercept...why will the line cut the y axis when we have line of best fit?

hey i have a question on y intercept?
if we dont start the y-axis with 0, and suppose we dont get the y-intercept , what do we do ? how will we get the y-intercept in this case ?
see attachment so that you can get what i mean :)

thankyou so much :D

dude sometimes y intercept can be negative too.so u got to be careful while starting to label the graph,so u have to the take the x axis a little above so that u can have negative y axis ,u will get to know this when u take all the readings and imagine wat kind of line it would be ,hope it helps u out.:)

when we measure any value frm experiment like current.
we measure in milli ampere.
bt when we hav to plot its graph then whch units nd its values shuld b use????
da original one ov milli ampere or convert it to Ampere (SI UNIT)
