TUBERCULOSIS
1)effectiveness of vaccine decreases with age unless exposure to TB occurs.
2) Strains can affect animals which then become the source of spread to humans.
3)Malnourished ppl show poor response to the antibiotic
4)contact tracing is difficult becuz the disease has a long latent period.
5)Migration and resurgance of AIDS has led to the spread.

MALARIA
1) - there are 3 stages in its life cycle in human host.
- each stage has different antigen, so the vaccine, if developed, must containe all three antigen of all 3 stages.

2)there is a short period of time between the mosquito bites and stages of life cycle.
Immune system cannot respond effectively in a short period of time

3)Antigenic concealmeant occurs as the Plasmodium remain inside the RBCs and liver cells...therefore no immune response.
