The Quit India Movement was basically a civil disobedience movement launched in India in August 1942 in response to Mohandas Gandhi's call for immediate independence.
Three reasons for quit india movement.
1. british need to get lost otherwise the japanese will attack.
2. indians pissed off because the cripps mission didn't give them what they wanted that is immediate dominion status. protest.
3. british should get lost anyway because indians want to get control of their country ack and congress is angry because the ritish said that india is at war with germany without first consulting their government.
