Hey people,

I appeared for my Pak studies, islamiat and urdu papers in may/june 2010. i had the following grades:
Islamiat A 81%
Pakistan Studies A 89%
Second Language Urdu A 85%

My pak studies and islamiat exams went extremely well and i was expecting A* in both. So do you you think it would make any difference if i gave them back for rechecking?
I mean i got 89 in pakstudies and i heard that as i missed an A* by just one 1%, the paper was probably rechecked.
As for Islamiat, is it possible to get an increase of 9%???
And one more thing, can marks be deducted if the paper is rechecked

Rechecking is a good option but the chances are 50-50!
Reappearing costs almost the same so it entirely up to you.

marks cannot be deducted :)
you could go for pak.studies recheck but not for islamiyat as you have just crossed A grade boundary
i hope your pak.studies grade would upgraded to A*
best of luck :)

by the way there are three types of rechecking in cambridge and you must have gathered complete information about the ways before you send your paper to be re-checked :)
