Yes, if you think you'll manage it in time, write a rough draft. It helps. But don't forget to cross it out clearly. Otherwise, if you've had enough practice and think you can handle the task directly, don't write it. Remember: you can't risk running out of time so suit yourself! :)

well............i dont think so tht we can write a rough draft now as the answers are to be written on the question papers..and there is a given space for the summary.....no extra pages ..znt it so?

An 'insert' is provided. No answer booklets this time, I think. And one can write the rough draft and then cross it out on one of the blank pages of the insert.

and one more question, what if we don't include in our SUMMARY, all the points we extracted in previous part??
there is no mention of of including all points as summary is now only marked for style. am i right?

Yes. If you don't include ALL of your points, it's NOT penalised as far as I'm told. In summary, accurate use of language and own words is tested only. (5 marks)

I am confused.. many of my friends are saying all of the points have to be included but most people here are saying it isn't necessary. Are you guys sure? :s

Don't write a rough draft. Less time.
Look, this is my strategy.
15 points, try to rephrase each point in 10 words.
MAKE SURE YOU ARE DOING THIS WHEN YOU ARE WRITING.
And the rest 10 words are the ones they ask you to begin with.
But, yeah you can cut with a pencil, or even a pen if its readable.

my summaries are too short. i just cant write long ones and seem to condense 3 points in one sentence!
