"er says that it is wrong to say that there will be comppletely no fixation of co2 at lower conc . of co2 bt i learnt that at lower conc....rubisco's carboxylase activity finishes and instead oxygenase activity occurs so CO2 must not be fixed then......cn any one clear this contradiction with ER

With reference to Fig. 4.1, list two visible features of the cell B that allows the pore to
open and close?

ref. to chloroplasts ;
sausage shaped / AW ;
joined only at ends ;
unevenly thickened walls / thick above and below / thin furthest from the pore ;
ref. vacuole ;
the MS is horrible.....i mean wat da hell has chloroplast and vacuole to do with opening and closing of pore.....aaand i dnt understand how being sausage shaped will allow too open easily.....

For the 2nd one..idk bout the vacuoles and chloroplasts....but sausage shaped helps..!! it relaxes and contracts to close and open...look at the page 217 in the CIE endorsed bio book...!!
