Not at all. Pakistani universities like LUMS and NUST have a SAT based application system and the seats are reserved. If you get a high score like 2150+ then you can apply on basis of SAT. Otherwise for engineering it's preferable to give Maths and Physics of SAT2 if you're interested only for the top tier universities like again LUMS, NUST, GIKI etc.
