I did co-ordinated science for my IGCSE (it has a similar syllabus to combines science) and honestly I'd prefer to do separate sciences because I think having the 3 sciences wrapped up in a package like that isn't fun at all because you get to do some sciences which you aren't good at (e.g. for me I really hated biology and was bad at it, but had to do it since it was part of the syllabus). It's not harder, it's actually easier because the syllabus has less depth to it than the syllabus for separate biology/chemistry/physics, so that's an advantage. Another advantage is that it earns you 2 IGCSE/O-Levels instead of just one if you did one science for example. Another disadvantage is that there are no books for combined/co-ordinated science (to my knowledge) so I had to take notes from lots of different books of the individual sciences in order to make my notes specific to the co-ordinated science syllabus. Hope this helped.Guys i Got a C in physics and biology in O level so is it better to take combined science instead of physics and biology so i can get a higher mark, and is combined science hard ?
