Its all about your interests if you love chemistry you will ace it like any other subject you liked but if you hate it like people normally do then you will have trouble for sure as you wont enjoy studying and neither will you study it with full concentration !

And taking tutions should only be considered if you are like struggling to understand anything at all even after the attention at school or you have a really poor teacher if you are fine even with a poor teacher taking tutions is a waste of time, money and strength :)
I myself took tutions in Physics,Maths and Add maths in O levels because i didnt have a good teacher so thats how it is dont just take tutions for the sake of it or just because everyone you know is taking it check the course outline start studying and evaluate yourself by doing past papers in about a month or two you will know which subjects to take tutions or not to take !

Most people dont recognize it but the amount of time you spend on a subject in which you take tutions doubles as you not only spend the time on that subject in tution class but also at home when studying it back again or doing the homework plus you also have to do school work in that subject so in the end you neglect other subjects and you never really recognize this until or unless your result shows this that you overburdened yourself by going to tutions and as a result other subjects suffered !
By the way Im not saying not to take tutions at all make an EVALUATED decision based upon your requirements then proceed to the conclusion !
