So I've really messed up my A'levels and gotten grades I would never have dreamt of ....or rather nightmare-d of. I've resolved to give it another go in the coming Oct/Nov session and retake all of my subjects namely Biology , Chemistry and Physics because I can't get in anywhere of my preference with the grades I've gotten. I did put a lot of effort into it so it obviously means there's something majorly wrong that I did along with the effort. It's quite depressing. So all of you with A's and A*'s could you guys guide me as to how you guys studied for each paper?

Revised what you are taught in school after returning home.
Do a lot of past paper practice.
Listen to your teachers very attentively.
don't get nervous before papers especially because you might think you will forget something.
And above all, believe in yourself.
