Studying mathematics at AS level?

is studying mathematics at AS level beneficiary for students which hope to purse Bachelor in Accounting and Finance and after that studying CPA

i really dont want to study pure maths but i am taking statistics, so would this be ok? as i guess only statistics is required for bachelors in accounting and finance . am i correct?
