The problem is than u should have good teachers + maintaining studies at home is Hard sometimes. You get confuse about what to do? but In school they take u in a flow. School exams Helps u out in Evaluating Your Class performance.

I have appeared as a private candidate in two sessions. And will be appearing in the next session as a private candidate.

However, I do go to school. I just didn't give the exams WITH the school.

Disadvantages:

1) You'll most probably not get the best preparation for the exam since schools teach you according to a set timetable. They will make sure you know everything, get tested on things and make sure you really do understand the curriculum.

2) You won't get to be around people and therefore, you will not get the tips most students get and your prep won't get that .

Advantages:

1) None. I can't think of any haha.

If you want the best results, go for the other option- with the school (not private)

BUT if you have been taught from a school or you are dead sure that you're fine then being a private candidate doesn't affect anything. It's a choice of REGISTRATION of the exams. Cambridge couldn't care less if you're private or with a school. Examiners DO NOT look at that! They will check ur papers like any other paper :)

hope I helped
