taking AS level mathematics only

Do some engineering universities accept it if you only take AS level mathematics and not the A2 part? i am interested in another field but am thinking of engineering as an option. What are other benefits of taking only the AS part of mathematics?

Sorry - the question is supposed to be "AND NOT THE WHOLE A LEVEL".

For engineering at any good uni A Level Math is a must.........doing only AS Level may seriously affect your chances for admission as u might not fulfill their minimum requirements by taking only AS Level Math...........And if you think u aint good at math i advise u not to go for engineering.........Do something that u enjoy doing as u need to do it for the rest of ur life.....Success isnt limited to a career in the sciences......Cheers.....

no idea about it bt wta i know that in USA thy need only ur AS level n in my country u must do 12 years of schooling which means u must continue ur a LEVEL bt still ask about the roles of uni admission in the ministry of education in ur country

Thank you. but like I mentioned I am thinking of another profession. engineering is just an option. but do you think I should give AS maths not for getting into engineering uni but because it MIGHT be beneficial later on.

man for medicine u need physics bio n chemistry only math is not required
im doing the same i took math for AS level only n im not planning to take it in my A level
