same I got straight C :S I hated this C god damn it, I am too sad I received this as a message I hope something is wrong in the message its written in a mess way

Same thing here... Thought i would get an A, but i got a D instead... I answered all my questions in paper 2 and 4, and yes almost all of them were correct after checking the marking scheme. Something is very wrong indeed.

i dont think there is anything wrong.. the curve was just high, or they were to strict in checking, thats it!

i believe there has been a Posting error.....sometimes candidate numbers r mixed up and a unexpected results like U's and D's erupt..but that is always 2 in a 1000...trust me.....and as for the strictness....examiners always mark according to the marking schemes...they r bound to it legally....stuff about easy checking and strict checking is rubbish!!!!!!!!!!

why don't u guys send requests for recheck?or retake ur exams? be confident..if u r sure about A or A*s...do go for the rechecking criteria

am most certainly going for a rechk for 2 of my pprs since i have cheked wid da marking scheme... :'(

I think the gt of English this year must have been really high because i did so good and i still got an A.

It was 167/200 for v1
170/200 for v2 & v3..

honestly, i am not here because i didnt get my expected grade...i got an A* in english but atleast we must sympathize with whatever has gone wrong with the other students...there is a much greater no. of students going for a rechk this time...what does this indicate??

for me two of my other subjects have been graded wrongly, despite the fact that i topped in school in both of them, and i have also cheked the marking scheme...what else does a student need to do to know of the wrong and injustice being done to us?? i hope u understand

u have a point too.. I got an A* Alhamdulillah but what surprised me was that my best friend (who is as good as me in studies) got a B in ESL and I do sympathise with her...she is going for a recheck as well

First of all the pattern of the exam is same in all years
so the way of correction is also same only if this is changed
or we did really bad ( Are they showing us that we are bad in English)
And as one of the members Angela said weaker students get higher than average students
this also happened to me
