So in 14 marks questions there are many timeline questions like
Were Gandhi Jinnah talks in 1944 the most important which led to partition between 1940s.

So in these questions can we discuss the events that occurred before 1944 like the Pak resolution?
My teacher said you can't and it isn't in the Marking Scheme.

Thanks :)

In this answer you will mention:
  • Pak. Resolution 1940
  • Cripps Mission 1942
  • Gandhi-Jinnah Talks 1944
  • Simla Conference 1945
  • Cabinet Mission Plan 1946
Then evaluate stating the one which was important. :)
