Travel and Tourism 7096 - Help!

Hey guys! I REALLY need help here. I'm appearing for Travel and Tourism 7096 in less than a month i.e 7th October 2013.

I don't understand what I have to do with paper 3 of the syllabus, and if it's necessary to give it? I'm not a private indicate, but I haven't studied this subject in school. Please help me out with this confusion!

Bro I am also appearing for travel and tourism next month. Its better to know that in o level a candidate has to give two or one paper for a subject but it cannot be more than two. I am appearing for this subject privately and I am giving p1 and alternative to practical, I don't know what is your case but you should have informed your school that you don't want to appear for practical , so they would have arranged alternative to practical for you. If you can correct this mistake by contacting british council that's fine, otherwise im sorry to say that you are in a big trouble. Have you received your statement of entry? Thank you for the response, but how it is that I'm in trouble. It's a candidate's choice to either take paper2 or paper 3.
How far have you covered it's syllabus? Do you find it easy? Let's say incase I have to give paper 3, how is it going to be conducted and when?

Let me tell you that I have given these subjects and got the following grades:
1. World Geography A*
2. Environmental Management A*
3. Business Studies A*
4. Economics A*
5. Urdu A*
6. Pakistan Studies A*
7. Commerce A
8. Sociology A
9. Statistics A
10. Islamiat A

and I am giving these subjects in oct:
1. World History
2. Travel and Tourism
3. Commercial Studies.
4. Islamic religion and culture.
5. Accounting.

For me, travel and tourism is pretty easy because I have given Environmental Management and World Geography. Moreover I have finished its syllabus. I have received email from british council and have seen my statement of entry. I am giving p1 and p2(alternative to practical). You should know that practical paper or p3 can only be taken by school now its better that you should contact your school regarding p3. But how its possible that your school offers travel and tourism ? I can bet that no school offers travel and tourism so your school may not be able to take practical of p3 from you. That's how you are in trouble. I know what happened after you registered from your school..............the british council; when they saw that you are registering from school they thought that your school will be able to take practical from you; that's why they chose p3 for you. For instance, in UK everyone registers from school and always take practical because their schools and teachers can easily take practical from them. I registered as a private candidate so they know that school is not involved , that's why they chose p2(alternative to practical) for me. You could have informed british council or your school that you want to take p2 because that is similar to p1. Now the only thing you can do is to contact british council or your school immediately and try to change p3 and take p2 instead. Bilal, thank you for being such help. I'm pretty sure I'm the only one who has registered for travel and tourism from my school, they don't offer the subject, but have sent my entry anyway. Which is why I'm positive of the fact that they would have sent it for paper 2 and not 3. I'm also appearing for EM and English Lit along with this subject. I'm very worried though, do you have notes for EM and Travel and Tourism that maybe I could use? Please let know.

Now there's nothing to worry about......you will be appearing in p1 and p2. One thing I would like to mention is that instead of giving eng lit you could have registered for world geography because after studying world geography:
1. One can get A* in EM without studying it,
2. And secondly, you come to know about many places and your knowledge enhances, due to which one can easily solve 65% of Travel and tourism exam.
That's why I prepared only world geography notes. There is no need to prepare T&T or EM notes, just learn what is in the book and concentrate more on case studies. If you further require any assistance about giving these exams so contact me directly.
