Please Note that ideal number of subjects in A-levels (AS+A2) is 3 and 4 if you are doing only AS (because two AS subjects are counted as one A level subject) to get accepted into a GOOD university [WORLDWIDE]

Please Note that the AS and A level (also IGCSE) Papers for May/June 2015 Will Be Shortly Released After The Results (So yesh , Stop looking for them :p) We Can Expect Them To Be Out Near September So BE PATIENT PPL :p (buddus wallahi :p)

Important Advice After A Conversation With A CIE Official[Examiner & Author] (donut doubt me , i really did :p )

We as students tend to collect resources like idk as if they are free food or gold(i love food ^_^) . When we start the academic year USE THAT CD U GOT IN UR BOOK (a point examiners bring up every year when having conferences with teachers) instead of hogging up all the ugly ppts and resources because they are USELESS
If you want A*s then know that everything you need is in the book and use the CD for further help and since the session 2016-2018 has brought changes to the syllabus (major ones ) , In that case you need to PRINT the syllabus so you know at all times what is the new content plus you need the specimen papers made by CIE for 2016-2018 papers (uploaded above ) and last but not the least REVISION GUIDES (also link given above )
So thats just a few things that u need (made a list to make it easy *below* )

1.Your CourseBook
2.CD that came with your book
3.Specimen Papers for 2016-2018
4.Revision Guide
5.Syllabus
6.Learner Guide

and thats abt all you need

Now concerning the resources on this site
They are quite old (some of it being relevant though *most of which i have included in this thread* ) and was for the session 2011-2015
and trust me , TRUST ME I AM ONE OF YOU (huh :p ) You should ONLY use help of ppts and resources on this site that is if its impossible or finding difficulty in understanding a topic ( which is unlikely because the above list is all you will ever need and u can always go to ur teacher rather than trying to use ppts and stuff)
The resources which you need that is apart from the book and cd are on this thread
in my view this thread is all you need (I THINK :p)

If you are doing AS and A level then dont forget that u are supposed to know IGCSE stuff (because A level means IGCSE+AS+A2 so dont think that all u need is in AS and A2 books . U need IGCSE too (to refer) since the course expects you to carry the knowledge FORWARD
and this course is more of a SELF-STUDY so don’t expect that teachers will run behind you like they used to in IGCSE

Now my personal observation and advice

Teachers Expect that we have grown up and since A levels is more like a general foundation course to get into any university , teachers think we are mature enough to study on our own ( ADMIT IT WE ARE COMPLETE BABIES I KNOW U ARE ) So get into the habit of making time for yourself and DONT i repeat DONT get distracted because in the end all that is important is grades . AND I BEG YOU if you are thinking that school tests don't matter and you care only about CIE exams then forget it . Its gonna be too late by then
I could easily make a huge thread but whats the point when the resources are no longer valid thus i have kept it simple , precise and to the point so it fits the requirements of the new syllabus and i would recommend the same to you.I hope you comment on how you found this effort of mine. I hope i have met your expectations as many hoped for a thread after i made IGCSE one

On a serious note , I hope that the resources on this thread and the important tips given above help you with your studies and hope that you ace in every subject . Does any one have any download link(s) for the Statistics 1 book textbook? (here's a picture of its cover)
If so, can you please share it with me? I gave my book (original) to my friend's cousin. He left the country without ever returning my book and I need it for re-sitting the Math exam next year! :(
