Can somebody explain to me how to sketch displacement time graph from a displacement distance graph of a wave. I know different points on the displacement distance graph represented differently on distance time graph. Likewise a certain point on displacement distance graph undergo 2 pulses whereas another point only 1 pulse at a particular period. Im quite confused so please help me.
Also when u draw both on the same graph how do you estimate the point of intersections:S

Displacement - time graph and a displacement - distance graph are two concepts. Displacement - time graph shows how the displacement of an oscillating particle at a particular position varies with time. A distance cannot be shown in this graph.
Displacement - distance graph shows how the displacement of all the oscillating particles at a particular instance varies with distance(along the wave). Therefore s time cannot be shown in this graph.
