Urdu Subject confusion...

Hey! Can anyone tell me whether urdu is compulsory subject in o-levels for pakistani students? Without having a foreign passport... :roll:

YUP urdu is a compulsory subject if u are a pakistani and have pakistani nationality otherwise if u come from other countries like japan,korea and have nationality of those countries then u might drop it but if u r a pure pakistani i guess u have to appear in urdu exam and consider it as compulsory

if you wanna do futher studies from pakistan then it is Compulsory and your equilance is based on it !
if you wanna go out of pakistan after O-level Or Alevel then you may drop it as it is not required

yep..........it depends on future planning .............whether you want to study in pakistan or go abroad . and u may drop it if u opt for study abroad.........BUT NOT IF YOU WANT TO STAY IN PAKISTAN

Thnks guys....the problem is that i hav less time to prepare for urdu examination and i hope dropping urdu wont make problems in a-levels in pakistan?......although i might go abroad for further studies..... :?:

Guys..soryy but what if u have givn the examination for one pakistani subject i.e Pakistan Studies and dnt take urdu in o-levels....will tht effect ur admissions in pakistan aftr A-levels?......HELP??????
