I gave my Alevels this may/june 2011...
now i am planing to retake them privately because i didnt got good grades...so in oct/nov 2011 form there are 2 options..
1)retake
2)1st time

pls suggest me which one should i go...because some say if i go for retake my previous poor results will effect the new result...pls clear me on that one..
and another important thing I want to know is that if i retake then on the final statement of result which i will receive, will my previous school name will be written from which i gave may/june papers or private???

Pls help because i have just got few days left...

Go for retake. Your previous A2 result wont affect your oct/nov results.
You will carry AS grades forward from your previous school so i believe that information will be mentioned in the statement of entry.
On the final statement of result, only your current center will be mentioned.

Write retake in your registration form.
If you are giving whole of the A level (AS+A2) in oct/nov and think that the previous result will affect your oct/nov grades then no its not the case.
